🌀 the trap

🪤

I have been watching the guy in the photo build this house for the past two years.

At first I was impressed by his knowledge to build a house single handedly. I saw him frame it. I saw him finish out the interior. I saw him hang the siding. And now him and his wife are laying the sod. They did almost everything.

Then I realized… this is how most people run their business.

This old guy could have hired a builder to build the same house in 6 months. But he chose not to use leverage.

And leverage is how you make millions.

One way to gain leverage is to use OPT (other people’s time).

Sometimes it feels lazy not learning a skill or you may even experience insecurity from not being the expert in certain areas of your business.

But this is the trap.

Brad Leah was once asked, “Do you have an education?”

He responded, “Yeah, I got 2 PHDs and 3 Masters degrees.”

The interviewer responded, “I feel like there is some kind of catch here”

To which Brad Leah replied, “Yeah they all work for me. Why the fuck would I spend the time getting an education when I can just buy it.”

So don’t think you have to be that intelligent, you just have to be intelligent enough to buy it and deploy it.

Imagine how much money that DIY builder could have made using his mind instead of his hands to build 4 houses at once in 6 months.

P.S. where should you be leveraging OPT?
